Pardon My Dust...
It's been a long while since February. I am finally paying attention to this little corner of the internet, which of course means I broke everything and will need some time to get it all in working order. 🥲 Life has been equal parts chaotic and restful, so it's nice that things are balanced I suppose. Work ramped up the way I anticipated until April, when it very suddenly screeched to a halt. I wrapped up some loose ends, and then took two weeks of vacation. Then, Memorial D

County Fair and 100 Days of Knitting
Here we are, at the end of February already. I can hardly believe it. The County Fair is coming to my town in the second week of April. They have a Creative Arts competition every year. It is my favorite part of the fair. I love seeing the local creative talent, and since last year, I've loved being able to compete. This year, I have 4 entries that I am extremely proud of. I will be showcasing my version of "Better Rings of Change" by Frank O'Randle, "The Better World Dress"

Sunkissed Fiber Festival and Knitting Hats
On Sunday January 25th, I attended the first annual Sunkissed Fiber Festival in Hillsborough County, Florida! For the past couple of years, I saw so many fiber festivals being hosted in places far away from my balmy state. Florida is not a place too welcoming of wool and insulating clothing. In fact, the temperature through the end of January was the lowest it has been in years, a brisk 27 degrees Fahrenheit! I know there are parts of the country that would have been thrilled
