Pardon My Dust...

It's been a long while since February. I am finally paying attention to this little corner of the internet, which of course means I broke everything and will need some time to get it all in working order. 🥲

Life has been equal parts chaotic and restful, so it's nice that things are balanced I suppose. Work ramped up the way I anticipated until April, when it very suddenly screeched to a halt. I wrapped up some loose ends, and then took two weeks of vacation. Then, Memorial Day came and went and I took a bit more time off to spend some time with my honey for our anniversary.

June became wildly hectic thereafter. Work has been chaotic, what with our industry changing under the proliferation of AI. I had about a week to get used to that before there was a death in the family. I am a bit strung out, to say the least.

Thankfully, I have had my crafting to keep me sane. Somewhere in April, I became obsessed with sewing. This was completely unexpected; I thought I was firmly on the Knitting train for a good long while. I definitely am still exploring knitting with gusto, but I have already sewn two garments and about a dozen bags, so sewing has taken up quite a bit of my mental space as well.

That being said, I want to do a few things with this website revamp. I want to start selling bespoke items through my shop. These will be knit, crocheted, and sewn things that I make during my explorations and learnings. I will post my jewelry there too, when I have time to make more. I bought so many supplies and I haven't had much time to touch them!

I will have the ability for folks to make requests for things and commission me occasionally, but most of my creations will be one-of-one.

I will also be looking into selling ACEOs (art cards, editions, and originals) in my shop. Keep an eye out over the next week or so, if you enjoy my art and want to score some originals.

For those who have taken classes with me before, your videos are currently inaccessible. I sincerely apologize. These will be my highest priority to restore.

I upgraded my website and, in doing so, lost my old theme and page layout. I need to go back and do a side-by-side comparison to restore those video pages. So, on the bright side, you will all have a shiny new video page to access your videos through!

Check out my Instagram for my most recent project updates. I post there frequently out of ease and it is the easiest way to keep up with me (although I still have dry patches, like this past week with how much I have been traveling and grieving).
