There are so many things that I say that I want to do. Usually, writing them down helps me actually do them, so I am fairly good about making lists. However, I also tend to bury those lists while I'm working, which forces me to make other lists. Sometimes these are duplicate lists, but usually they are just lists that are similar and not all that good at helping me keep track of things.
Can you relate?
In an effort to combat this, I am going to maintain a series on this blog where I check in every few months to see what I actually did and what I still want to do. It should be fun for me and for all of you!
It will also publicize how many WIPs I have going at once, which might help me keep that list from growing out of control. (Who am I kidding? My WIP list will always be nuts lollll)
Crochet Projects I Am Working On
This list changes so much, usually because I keep adding to it. I will try to add these in order of how much they are complete, from most complete to least!
A lacy wool shawl (pattern) Literally just have to wash and block it and add buttons
A Loch Ness Monster plush (pattern) Just needs fins and he will be done. He and his brother are gifts!
A poncho (downloaded from pinterest years ago, photos are not watermarked) I just have to seam the hood to the rest of the poncho and it will be ready to block, but I have put this off for months.
A cute black lacy shrug (pattern) Just gotta figure out the sleeves
A crop top shirt with bell sleeves (pattern) Another one with just sleeves missing
A lacy scarf This is a fun experiment for me. It's a glorified swatch, so no pattern
A special doggie plush (pattern not listed for sale but the designer's site is here) I have the head and shoulders done! He's got a ways to go. Also a gift
A floor pouf This is a long ongoing project, eventually to have as an ottoman. No pattern, just lots of single crochet around macrame cord
Better Rings (Ravelry project, pattern) This is a long-term project I come back to regularly to chip away at
A pair of lacy gloves (pattern) Another gift! But I've made a couple already and they come together quickly
Eventually, I will also start a series of what projects I want to start, and that one will be even more fun! For now, I am going to get ready for a local crochet meetup and make some progress on some of these today!
